AMUR GAS PROCESSING PLANT (AGPP)

Amur Gas Processing Plant (Amur GPP) is a gas processing enterprise near the city of the Free Amur Region of Russia. The project belongs to Gazprom.

Some characteristics:

Specialization: extraction of concomitant methane gases from natural gas: ethane, propane, butane and other heavier fractions of hydrocarbons, as well as helium.

Products: after reaching full capacity, the plant will produce 38 billion m3 of the refined methane fraction for supplies to China, 2.4 million tons of ethane, 1.5 million tons of liquefied hydrocarbon gases (LPG), 200,000 tons of pentane-Hexan fraction, 60 million m3 of helium.

Infrastructure: 40 km of railway tracks and 27 km of access roads have been laid, a pier on the Zeya River was built to deliver large cargoes.

  • Design capacity (refining) is 42 billion cubic meters of natural gas per year.
  • Helium production is up to 60 million cubic meters per year.
  • The production of ethane is about 2.4 million tons per year.
  • Propaan production is about 1 million tons per year.
  • Bhutan production is about 500 thousand tons per year.
  • Production of pentane-Hexane fraction is about 200 thousand tons per year.
  • Technological lines – 6.
  • The area of the plant is 800 hectares.
